I'm looking to get the Medieval Schlieffen and And Stay out achievements.

My plan is to play at the Nomadic Khazars in 769 and basically conquer the world - I'll leave a few holdings in Northwest Europe and Southern Europe for ships as I presume the Aztecs can conquer islands.

My first question is what religion I should switch to (when it gets to be appropriate)

1) Stay Tengri - good enough

2) Orthodox - I think I'll be able to excommunicate whoever I want since I will have the only Kingdom....or would my sub-clans also get their own patriarch?

3) Catholic - Presuming I push the claims of an anti-pope and end up with a vassalized papacy I can definitely excommunicate anyone...but I would need to leave Rome to the Pope. Also, all those sweet, sweet Holy Orders

4) Zoroastrian - what good are all those genius daughters you end up with from your endless concubines if your son can't marry them?

Also, should I enable Jade Dragon? If I do I'll need to leave the eastern portion of the map alone until I get a fairly large army...and then go conquer China.

Part of the appeal of Nomads is that if I conquer the world significantly before the Aztecs/Mongols show up Nomads require much less micrcomanagement - fewer vassals, fewer revolts (after you burn everything), and less stuff to build as you conquer land.

Any other thoughts?
