Hannibal, do you have the link for that website on the Victoria Cross you described? It shouldn't be to hard to find on my own, I amagine, but I am a lazy SoB

There was actually a Dane that got that honour during WW2.

Anders Lassen, Major (I think) in the Special Boat Service.

Died in the spring of '45, talk about bad luck....

It's called the Medal of Honor and is presented in the name of Congress. Not the Congressional Medal Of Honor. If you read the citations of various recipients you can see for yourselves.
