How about some super medals that take up the space of 4 icons and say things like "paradox strategy 2007-2010" (requiring you to own all applicable games and expansions). Then you could have another one called "paradox strategy up to date" which could have a month period before you need to register any new games or expansions as they come out.
Then you could have an option called "disable regular medals when super medals are present" that could be used to reduce clutter.

Or at the very least, have them at 10 per lines, instead of merely 5. I wouldn't want my icons to go down to a ribbon bar or a heretical super medal o

it would be cool if they go to a ribbon type system (like some forums) if they incorporated some achievent type stuff. Say a ribbon for being here 10 years or things like that.

Back in the day, medals (or icons, whatever you want to call them) used to mean something. 4-5 was like you were good (pending on what they were), and then as time went on the medals just became more and more worthless.

Now, the only medals really worth something are the 200k ones and the ones for beta-testing. Does paradox ever have a plan to do something about this? Eventually, everyone's name will be cluttered with medals and it'll become an eyesore!

200k??? That one was so cheap to get i totally skipped it, didnt want to buy a game worth a view cent i didnt even want to get that one. In the end i agree with you those medals went from a cool addition to an annoyance because they are just way too many now. In the beginning a guy who had a lot of medals seemed rather "cool" to me, now i just find it stupid when you see someone actually bought a game he already had 3 times to get another medal. Also the thought that most of those guys probably havent even played some of the games listed makes it just stupid for me.
