Whenever the player receives an event, they should be able to see (via a tooltip, say) what mechanical factor enabled that event to occur for them. Many of the negative wartime events (for example) have rather vague flavour text that doesn't actually tell you "am I getting this because my manpower pool is low, my WE is high, or just because Paradox think bad things should happen to me randomly when I'm at war?"
