I think NATO should be rethought. What would this mean? The "official" NATO should stay as it is at the beginning, while the rest of the NATO members should be allied with the EU (and I mean all, because some of them are missing). Once the Iraq war is ended, the unofficial alliance is broken and its members join the official NATO. How does that sound?

Seems sensible enough to me! I must say I dislike how the EU is operated entirely, however...none of it makes sense. Some EU nations aren't members in-game and the UK has no involvement with it whatsoever.

I suggest Civil War in Russia event.

During a severe instability (50% dis) Russia split into several parts.

Moscow and in the regions coming under the control of the rebels, calling themselves the Socialist Republic (Social Democrat)

They are at war with the federals, nationalists and fundamentalists. Can be supported by North Korea, China and Belarus. If they defeat federals, then Russia is renamed to Soviet Republic.

St. Petersburg and the nearby regions declare themselves Free Russia. This is nationalist forces (Autocrats)

They at war with the federals, socialists and fundamentalists. If they can win, then Russia is renamed to Russian Empire.

Siberian Republic (Social Conservative)

Capital is Novosibirsk. At the beginning is neutral to the other factions. Can be invaided by China.

Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (Fundamentalist)

In the Caucasus a lot of potential "freedom fighters", but Chechens the most influential. So they get all the northern Caucasus. Fight for independence and joining the Kuban. Supported by Saudi Arabia and other sunni fundamentalists.

Idel-Ural State (Fundamentalist)

Tatars revolted for independence. The capital - Kazan. Siberian Republic could try to capture them.

East Prussia (Social Liberal)

Kaliningrad declared independence. May request protection in Germany and become their puppet with subsequent integration.

Far Eastern Republic (Social Democrat)

Capital - Vladivostok. Includes Chukotka and Kamchatka. At the beginning is neutral to the other factions. The later can be joined by Siberian Republic, China (by force or asking protectorate) or become a puppet of Japan.

I think the modders should improve the political aspect of the game: kaiserreich's elections could be a good starting point!
Apart from that, I'd suggest:
-Remove Iran from the major alliance and split the Russo-Chinese one
-Franco-German diplomatic struggle for EU supremacy
-Some generic economic events for 2009 crisis: if you ask too much money to the EU, there could be a leftist/rightist sudden change of government
-Far left/right wing parties winning election in 2012/2013
-An hypothetical Israelo-Iran war
-Rebirth of the Soviet Union with some pro-soviet putsch in all former Soviet countries
-War in China with the US in the aggressor role
-South American countries' allignment with Cuba and US military intervention
-Make China a military power, like USA or Russia/USSR should be in the game
-Disable nukes (it's too easy defeat someone with them)

Seems pretty outlandish...
needless to say, I love it.

However, fitting that into this particular mod would probably be hard at the moment. Could make for an interesting scenario, I suppose, if the communists are elected and there is an event chain for radicalism within the party or something.

Considering Russia mainly consists of Communists and people of the United Russia party. I think at 50% dissent should come a 2 way cival war between the Russian Federation, and Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic( Russian part of the Soviet Union ). And at 75% a full collapse should come resulting in an idea like what Moxaz said. Also I think all nations that were previously in the USSR should have a communist party like the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, so if they all revolt and succeed the USSR can reunify. Or my other idea would be an event chain in which the Russian leadership plans to reunify the USSR through either conquering all the previously USSR nations or a serious of coups and attempts to get the people to rebel against the governments.

Except that's not an accurate image of Russia...
at most the Communists ever get 20% of the vote whereas United Russia gets a near majority of the votes. It always has, too. The Communists get less votes every year as Russians realize they're better off now. Other parties are becoming more and more popular, which can especially be seen in the recent elections.

Well yes but that is 2012 the mod starts in 2003 and the civil war is most likely to take place some time between 2003-2013 so maybe two events? One with the mass of revolting nations 2009-end and the other the two way communists versus loyalists start-2008.

I would say that today the nationalists are even stronger than the communists, the thing is that they are not that visible in elections because its practically outlawed in Russia to have a nationalists party. And the party that most think are the nationalist party "liberal democratic party" is simply a fake Putin tool to keep the nationalists calm.

SD: Social Democrat
SL: Social Liberal
ML: Conservative Liberal/Libertarianism
SC: Conservative
PA: Authoritarianism (similar to Authoritarian Democrat in KR)

No. At most, the Central Asian nations and Belarus would re"unify" with Russia. There would be absolutely no push to re"unify" with Russia coming from the Baltic States or the Caucasus, and maybe a moderate one from the Eastern Ukraine.

Give the player a possibility to form 4th reich with germany!

Please no.

I think for a later version there could be an event chain for a popular uprising in Iran that, if backed by foriegn powers, could lead to an Iranian civil war and if you win as the rebels you would have the choice of putting in a democratic government, a military dictatorship, or a socialist government.
