Anyone wanna make a Y2k Fear event to affect the western world?

Probably just small loss of stability and maybe money. Y2K never lived up to all the fear it aroused.

Make an event in 2200 that says "Events are now over. You may play until 3000 but the events will not come with you."

I assumed that that was a reference to planet of the apes, the book of which (by pierre boulle) is very good.

Is it a book also. I only thought it was a movie. The movie is great (not the new one that was useless, but the old one from 1960 something).

When is the world's oil supply going to run out? We should remove oil as a resource on that date (can you change prov. resources through events?), and do some other things about it--like, maybe a couple provinces will keep oil (these last vastages will run out eventually of course), and huge oil wars will be started. It will also get rid of the problem we have of how to simulate the fact that airplanes will become the dominant military force in the future. Or we can have the end date, 2200, be when the oil runs out, and let people play on with no whiteman value.

Huge hits to naval technology (sail propelled battleship hehe) would be good too, if we have the oil events.

Resources can unfortunaly not be changed by events their for IMHO we simulate resources that run out by taxvalue.
You belive to much in the oil Seraphim. Other things may turn up in the future.

And whiteman can not be changed by events.
