MBT-Level Tanks not changing model name

So I've been using that nifty HoI2 editor to make some more sane tech tree model names for some of the factions (namely Germany). However, the Medium Armor models classified as MBTs on the tech tree itself don't seem to be changing name with the rest of the Medium Armor. Is it organized somewhere else, or am I doing something wrong? (Every other model name seems to work fine.)

The MBT is just a name on the tech itself. if you want to make the Medium tanks have the MBT name then you need to edit the medium tanks model names.

Some thing is wrong here. There is no MBT unit type, its only a tech name for the medium tanks after ww2. The E-75 is a medium armor unit according to the tech tree, but its not visible in the model names...
