I've read every thread title over here, and never found something that could bé very capital non-esthetic to add to the game.
I call this thing : WTM. for Working Tourism Mechanics !
Nahh seriously, having à Nice real and Working tourism aspect would be one of the most useful things in this game. Especially with afterdark.
I say that because, well, afterdark adds a SH*t load of tourism potential, BUT, tourists dosent even bother to get in the City. Like, just an exemple, One of my cities has over 500k citizens... Every buildings has been built. Still, i have only 40 weekly tourists coming in my megapolis. Meaning that my airports and my space elevator plus docks are completely USELESS. (Tho airports i use them for intern reasons... Instead of trains. Because I dont know why, but nobody takes the train -_- ). I also have a huuuuuge department with the new commercial ability. Tourism. But they almost all fail. Due to no buyers. Tho, my citizens are their own tourists... That does really feels strange, to feel like à real tourist in your own hood.
Anyways. I just think that overall, adding or even correcting the tourism mechanics would be better than almost anything... (Equally to BETTER CAPACITATED BUSES ! )...
