Online you can find a lot of rumors regarding the possibility that Steam would be present in some form on PS4... in the end Sony and Steam have already an accord on PS3.

So as PS4 is, in reality a PC, and the only difference is only the OS (Orbis OS that should be a modified version of BSD) there's a possibility to see the Paradox games on PS4? IMHO it should not so difficult if EU4 runs on Linux already...

What do you think?

i think if steam will be on PS4 then most likely PI will port EU4. Or at least all new games will be PS4 compatible.

Yes I hope so, too!

I don't thing BSD instead of Linux could be a problem and I suppose Steam gives all the libraries to help you to create the create...

Personally I hate to play on PC (only Paradox convinced me to install a game on a PC), Windows intervenes with its popups blocking the game it slow it and in the end it crashes... on a Console this will not happen EVER!

For sure PS4 is AMD X86 computer nothing as exotic as the PS3, it uses Blutooth as PS3 did and so no problem to connect keyboard and mouse, I don't see any problem to use my Logithech cordless SET that has proprietary USB connector, as being de facto a PC shall be really easy to write a driver!

I would like to see a Pdox title on the Wii U. The gamepad for that seems like it would be the best fit for a console version of one of their titles.

This at least will never happen.

3rd party wii sales are atrocious, just imagine them for niche games.

Well I do not know if this is such a good move. You do not need to have a high end PC for paradox titles. Most Playstation owners do own such a pc next to there console, so why would they buy it on a system where game prices tend to be higher than on PC.

I disagree, most console owners own computers with very little 'gaming power' and a fair proportion would be frightened by installing software like games - at least in my experience.

Also strategy games as a whole tend to to rather poorly on the consoles.

I think a much better question would be why on Earth would anyone want to play a Paradox game on a console?

Well PS4 and XBox One are PC in all effect: AMD X64 CPU + ATI GPU they support keyboards and mice so... yes technically you could install Windows 7 in them if Microsoft wants... Linux should run without problems!

Why playing EU4 in a console? Why not?
It is more easy to use, you put the BD-Rom in the drive and the game just plays, no installation problems, no Windows CTD problems and so on...

You could... but I bet you would also be getting a letter from microsoft or sony's lawyers. Let me reiterate my point, just because a developer releases a game on one type of developer doesnt mean it is going to make it that much easier to develop a game for another type of computer.

P.S both the Xbox and PS3 come with APUs so they dont have seperate GPUs

In PS3 until was not hacked was perfectly legal to install Linux, do you know?
The problem of PS3 Linux was NVidia that never released Linux driver for the RSX...

By the way if Sony and Stream would find an accord Steam could run on PS4 in a total legal way, so what Paradox would do in this case?

More customers is better. If porting to a console can be done with just some controller support and a recompile go for it. The biggest obstacle is actually just increased needs for customer support. But, Paradox could use an overhaul of how customer support is done anyways as sales grow.

Playing Paradox Grand Strategy on a console... I don't know about that.
Maybe aside from the Wii U but Shams already said that that is impossible so most likely won't happen unless a reverse comet hits the earth.
Runemaster on consoles... now that needs to happen!
