We got a DD for Imperator today discussing the migration system. Basically you can give up some provinces and turn pops into armies.
It reminded me how Nomads with no land become wandering adventurers. People have already spoken about making these playable but I think the Imperator system shows us how we could make all landless migrant cultures playable and make the end of the migration period and the steppe region more historic.
In ck2 we'd have to tie it to population or holdings and have empty/auto filling provinces but I suppose ck3 can be designed with this a bit more in mind. Still the concept of letting you play after losing all your land as long as your troops are of the migrating type is a good idea and probably should be implemented for the ck2 timeframe.
What do you guys think?
