So I've just started my first LoR game and a a faction to lower the crown authority is forming and is even marked as dangerous, but it seems all I can do is watch more and more vassals join it: bribing the institagtor or engaging him to my daughter (he wants to get married) doesn't seem to help...

Am I missing something?

Send your spymaster to 'scheme' in the instigator's capital.
If your spymaster is talented enough, at one point he should provide an opportunity to bribe, convince, or blackmail the rebellious bugger.

Does sending the spymaster to the faction leader's capital allows interaction with all schemers or only the leader?

Only one at a time.

As for faction leaders bribe, honorary title them until you get above 80 opinion.If you do they will disband faction on their own.

Also hope they are plotting something.....then you can imprison for free.(The reason AI rulers start gaining tyranny they only use imprison option to disband factions)

Do leaders disband factions? I've only seen them leave and get replaced by someone else, unless they're the only members.
