So I have been trying to form mayapan for some time now and well it is frustrating
The first bit isnt that difficult; unify the Maya and around 1460 something depending on luck
Then it depends a bit on what has happend in the west but mostly it is the aztecs rising to dominance
Thus you either have to overwhelm the aztecs, vassal revolt, wait till they collpase or reform never seen the later two
Once you have the extra five provinces and reform it is around 1470-1480
Then upon reformation you loose all except 10+X provinces and release the other nations.
These nations have between 5-7 units by the time the truce passes
Becuase they often ally each other you will face around 10-14 units or more with your about 12 unit army
Once the Maya are united once more your manpower has tanked and the aztecs will soon DOW you (in my experience
Thus ends my run in around 1490-1500
And thats not to mention that at this point I have 1 reform and there are the Europeans comming in about 20-50 years time
So does anyone have a good strategy?
