Maximum resolution [Mac]

Hi,

Purchased a new 34" monitor and connected it to my Mac Mini.

When I start EU IV it crashes if I try to play with huge resolutions (CK III with the newer graphics engine seems to handle this better).

What is actually the maximum resolution for EU IV? It worked fine earlier in 2560x1440 on my 27" iMac but with a new wide monitor that's not an optimal resolution anymore.

If you open up the file Documents/paradox/eu4/logs/system.log , all the supported resolutions for your hardware are listed at the end there.

The highest one for this game on my 27" iMac is 5120 x 2880

HI,

Thanks for the answer. I did get it to work after restarting my Mac. The other Paradox games worked after installation but EU IV needed a restart before it worked. Now it's running like a charm with high resolution.
