Matrilineal marriages

Hello,
Last time I played it was 1 year ago so maybe something change but I have somes issues with marriages.
I have two girls who are duchesses and they married some weird men with no titles, but it was regular marriages ?

Is it a vanilla bug or something else ? When I play before I remembered women with titles normally make matrilineal marriages.


Edit : Other thing strange I found is my husband become Bishop one day so he divorces and get a small church in about 200km than me and his children... Quite strange.

Pretty certain this is a vanilla thing. I've seen it go either way.

No it's not a bug, it's realistic

clergymans cant be married, also he gets the kids since men are superior
