how do you make priorities and yield to certain intersections? is that part of the free patch? i can do without blimps until a sale but those are kinda annoying to not have.

There are no yield signs, only stop signs, but they work in about the same way. They are part of the free patch. There are two ways to employ them. You can click on the traffic route info tab the click on the road you want to have the right-of-way and make it a priority road. That will place stop signs on all roads that intersect the main road.
