So, the enemy comes to siege down my province.

A bit before that, I put my marshall to train up new fodder for the garrison. And so he did, he got the modifier "50% faster levies". Great I thought, but then the enemy actually took over the province. It would seem that my Marshall either doesn't care about who owns the castle or perhaps he can't tell the difference.. My flag is yellow and red and theirs is yellow and blue.. I guess.. well..

The modifier like that shouldn't count when its the enemy who occupies the province.

The modifier is provincial, and thus works regards of who controls it.

Which is very very odd..
Agreeing with you this time Secuter ;) This is definitely dodgy game mechanics. Ideally you would want the bonus to end once all or part of the province was in enemy hands.

Unfortunately the way this is applied as a province modifier means there's no easy way to make that happen that I can think of.

An on_action event that fires after every successful seige, checks for the modifier and then removes it if in place would probably be doable but I have a feeling that would be bad for performance.

I guess it would be quite hard to alter at this stage of the game. Quite sadly, as it's an annoying part ;)
