It is possible, but very rare that they accept.
They will never accept a marriage to someone with a title, but if you have a lot of prestige and a good relation with them it is possible to marry a son (or brother) to them. It takes a lot of luck (or byzantine :D).

Say you do the "timing right" thing and grant him a title that would make him her superior, does it then auto vassalize her to him, does it just strip her title and give it to him, or some other funky thing...like passing it on to her succesor? In my line of thought, a female always moves to a male's court unless she has a title, but his having or getting a title that was superior to hers I'm curious to see what would happen. I might do some byzantine and day by day and see what happens.

I think they're just married and both rule their own realms, the marriage doesn't affect their lieges or vassals in any way.

Unless I want her as a steward/spymaster/chanceller, I always give my current rulers mother land, since under primogeniture/consanguinity i'll always inherit it when she dies. This also works for wives, but that can be a problem if she dies before you get sons to inherit her (her titles will most likely go to her brother under consanguinity/primogeniture).

Under consanguinity you will not always inherit your mother's land, f.e. if your ruler dies before his mother then he other children will be first in line to inherit here, and not your children.

More likely with Consang you'll make your best son heir. If he's the eldest he'll inherit from his mother. If he's not, or he's a bastard, you're basically giving a bunch of free land to your loser-eldest.

The advantage of Primo in CK is that it's predictable, and tricks like giving your wife land and then getting it back always work.

No, not always. Because the inheritance law of your wife will be semi-salic primogeneture. Which means if you don't have a son but just daughters, then the heirs of your wife will be your daughters sons. While your heir will most likely be your brother or his son.

To be honest I can't recall a single time when a ruler (female or male) accepted one of my offers for marriage. So it must be very rare indeed.
