Marriage Problems

After my original Kokujin ruler has married all his wifes. I no longer get anymore messages about his offspring getting married and further down the line. So say if his grandson or granddaughter proposes to another clan leader i no longer get anymore messages from the other clan leader to say if he has agreed or refused the marriage. Then when i look at the family tree hey presto they are married and i wasnt aware of it. Has anyone else noticed this?

In the top right corner you can select the message settings. Default is close relatives I think, you can also set it to extended family so you will get message about all your family members.

weird, in my case, unless the said grandsons or extended family members are kokujins or landed characters, they never seem to get married in my games...

Yeah only landed characters marry on their own. So if you want to get the best wives for your sons be sure to find them before you give land to you son.

I get concerned about them adding more than one wife, on their own, which they don't often seem to be in much of a hurry to do. Part of the gameplay, I guess.
