Marks 'D' and 'A' on minimap work for AI ally ?

New marks on new minimap - 'Defence' point and 'Attack' this point.
Are the only for multiplayer games, or also work for AI ally ?

Does some AI ally aspire and tend to execute an order if I ask them for some help using this tool ?

I don't think that the AI pays any attention to the markers, at least it hasn't worked for me
