Market inflation renders generator districts completely useless

I've first noticed the inflation a few days ago so I'm not sure if it's something caused by a beta tweak or if it was there since day 1, but whatever the case it makes generator districts and any other buildings or jobs that produce EC directly completely useless. In my current game a single alloy costs 20 EC and a mineral 6 EC. Othere resources have similar number of inflation. At this state there is no reason for me to even consider building generator districts because it's way more profitable to build something else and sell it on the market. It's year 2235 and I can make hundreds of EC a month if I wanted to. I think we have a bit of a problem here.

I accidentally crashed the alloy market down to .6 EC per unit in one of my games so careful with that one.

A mix of food/mineral sales is your best bet to ignore energy districts.

Even that may not be as viable anymore. I seem to recall the latest beta branch patch notes fixed a bug where market price was incorrectly INCREASING when the AI was SELLING resources.
