Who will you play first in Mare Nostrum?

Ottomans here probably, a roleplaying run mimicking their historical conquests and making marches out of the Danubian Principalities / Crimean Tatars.

After that an old-fashioned Ethiopia run. Great tag and awesome new models.

Hungary ! an "RP" playthrough, trying to be the real bulwark of Christ against the Muslims ... (and Poland i guess, because they always backstab you) Eating Austria for easy westernization.

I'm leaning towards Naples. I've never played as a junior partner, so it should be fun to try and break free of my Aragonese overlords. Then I can expand in Italy and try to reform Rome.

I actually tried a test of this a week or so ago, and after taking Sicily and Malta I watched Aragon be devoured by Navarra of all things. It was fun.

Naples can be fun; despite their national ideals being pretty garbage [Even then, maybe in MN their spy based ideas will be actually good?]

Naples was one of my funnest campaigns ever. I ended up beating the Turks out of Europe and had Byzantium with all it's cores as my loyal march.

I'd say Spain, if the Iberian union fires you get the whole of Iberia and southern Italy, from there you have to kill the BBB of France and then you should be good to go.
