Uh, this is it. Hungary is stealing vassals from an AI player country. I can't take this anymore. I can beat any of my neighbors in a fair fight even if Hungary has nearly twice my manpower, but because of exploitations and RL conflicts with the game, I am stolen from again and again. I'm tired of this bullshit.

ok...i didnt watch exactly which liege these counts had before i vassalized them...you can have them back!...you would (prpbably) do same things to my vassals, if im not able to play one day!

Um, Sterk, it is possible that you may be reading a bit much into my anti-Hungary propaganda. But I do think that stealing disloyal vassals from AI players has been standard practice for a while; I know I've done it, RP did it to cheech recently, and I seem to recall a considerable number of English holdings in Russia going over to Poland in the Deluge, and I'm not convinced Dom was present for that.

As for not being able to win a fair fight, well, it's up to you to arrange unfair ones. Apart from Italy, I don't think there's any nation that can win a two-on-one at the moment.

Oh, wait, I misread your post. I thought you said "I can't beat". But the point remains : It is up to you to arrange that the fights are fair. It is not up to us to structure our game-playing around your RL schedule. I hope you don't quit, because in all honesty I enjoy stealing from you. But if you do, well, I've always fancied myself as king of Rus.

EDIT: Yes, I did overreact in my first post, but I was just kinda pissed about stuff in general then. Sorry about that, I probably would have done the same thing. But anyway, EU is my time to kick ass.

Well... I have discovered why I had no internet for three days. I use a cable modem and my neighbors felt the need for cable TV. So they decided to steal my cable. Once my leasing office opens I am getting these assholes evicted. Second time they tried to steal from me. First time I ignored because the Natural Gas company made it so they couldn't in the future. I guess ignoring them once was my big mistake.

To add insult to injury, I just finished a two day war with these guys, resulting in them cutting my cable and me responding by cutting theirs, in which they kept taking back my cable. Good news is, I have several digital pictures of the guy and his partment number. Well I do and so does the cable company, and so do the cops. Bastard chose the wrong person, shpuld have left me alone and only messed with the rest of the complex. Plus I managed to corrupt my hard drive when moving a large amount of data over to another partition. Thus I again have to reinstall everything including CK. This has been the weekend from HELL. Sorry I missed the sessions, but I did try.

Weekly Game Update


We played at Slow for most of the game with 6 players. We played from January 6, 1399 to February 26, 1404. Newest game MAP is up. I have the most recent save posted, which can be downloaded from here.

The players this session:

• Traveler - King of Italy
• Ear - King of Hungary
• KoM - King of Norway
• Sterk - King of Poland
• Prime - King of Burgundy
• Blackeye - Emperor of Byzantium

We had 4 game stops. I’ll list the causes for each stop:

• Sterk CTD, not sure why
• Sterk CTD, not sure why
• Prime accidently clicked save and exit when Ear lagged
• After ending a war and getting peace we saved and ended here

A little slower pace this time, due to fighting. Major war in the north with Norway versus Poland, Burgundy and Italy.

Open realms:

• Kingdom of Bohemia needs good leadership
• Kingdom of France a bit chewed on, potentially fun in the right hands
• Kingdom of Jerusalem a future power

I asked him the same once, and he apparently just takes eight screenies and merges 'em together by hand, cutting and pasting.

I heard that by enlarging play resolution you can zoom out more.
Maybe that's the case?

It may be off-topic, but I just found out about EU 3! Let the rejoicing begin! I say we hold off conversion until EU3 is released (1st quarter 2007). But my god, this is HUGE! Incorporating elements from other games (like personalities from CK, intelligence from HOI2), hopefully it will be the best game Paradox will have released yet. I'm getting really overhyped now, so I had to post this somewhere.
