Gentlemen, I apologise, but I will be unable to play tomorrow. The lazy scum at Earthlink will send me a tech Monday (! After I spoke to them this Tuesday about the problem! What am I paying them for, anyway?) and I am disconnected except at work until then. I am not pleased, indeed I am considering changing ISPs, but we'll see. If they can get my connection back up, and apologise sufficiently profusely, with money back for the days I was disconnected, I may keep them on.
I will be there if somebody can help me getting it working lol, that's the only thing stopping me.

I had alot of fun playing with you guys today. It was a heck of alot better then playing SP. And alot funnier to. Its nice being able to talk to people while you play. Im also happy with the way my new kingdoms turning out. I was afriad at first that it would be a lost cause. Thanks to everyone that helped me get into this CK MP stuff Id have to say its about 100 times more fun the AOE3 online. I just wish there where more chances to play and I need to get ahold of EU2. Can anyone help me with that? Have a good one guys.

Gah, naturally my connection would choose to come back a few hours too late. So what happened? Cyrus, you are playing Jerusalem? Did you get into trouble with Blackeye - I seem tor ecall he was planning a Crusade in your general direction? And what was tehre to get heated about? I thought we settled the issue of the Celleian Succession pretty decisively last time. Has RP handed back Normandy yet?
Sterk declared war on Hungary and had them create Crimea, no idea what exactly happened but Trav, Blackeye and Ear weren't too happy and are plotting their revenge for when the plague leaves.
Jerusalem peaced with Byzanthium. I didn't (and probably won't so close to EU2) war France for Paris and there was no one to give Normandy to.
Norway is plague ridden, has 48K manpower and is very much broke due to ai troop management.
It seems Norways alliance with Poland was a big problem as Norwegian troops invaded Hungary along with Poland.

Crimea, in all honesty, sounds like an excellent idea. Were it up to me, Hungary would also be forced to create Basra or some other Middle Eastern kingdom. And, to be sure, I wouldn't mind seeing an Orthodox Kingdom of Rus, either. But after all the trouble we had putting together the previous Eastern Crusade, only to see it all swallowed up by the Mongols, well, I guess it won't happen.
Edit : Aaaagh! Damn it, that alliance was only meant to keep the AI off my back! Well, I guess it serves me right for taking advantage of the dumb AI to smash RP. What goes around, comes around, to be sure.

Well KOM, the AI sort of had most of its troops just standing around in Germany for a long time while at war with Hungary. I saw because of your rather underhanded alliance with me. Fortunately for everyone, it no longer exists (my king died of plague at the age of 22).
I've just received horrible news. Well, it's not actually horrible, but I have to go somewhere and can't make the next session.
Damn! (As you so aptly put it.) It seems we'll never be able to have that final showdown on just who rules the Baltic. *Eyes Polish Russia covetuously*
By the way, RP, your kings in Burgundy have Norman culture. That translates to anglosaxon in my converter. Now, I could change this if I were given a good argument; 'norman' could arguably go to french, anglosaxon, or scandinavian - take your pick. I chose anglosaxon so that a historical, ie Norman, English dynasty would get its correct culture. But if you don't have a good argument, I suggest you change your King's culture to Dutch right quick, or you're going to end up with some very nasty culture issues in EU2.
Incidentally, this is a problem in several places, where the CK cultures don't really match what you'd expect for the EU2 cultures. This is fixable by softcoding where provinces are concerned, but more difficult for state cultures. I suggest you all download the converter, take a look at the latest save, and inform me if there are any really terrible issues with the conversion. While I'm confident mine is better than the inbuilt, if only because it gets cetnralisation right, I do want it to be as good as possible.

I am trying to marry a dutch girl at the moment and hope she'll bear me some dutch sons. The king of Italy is Russian, so Trav is probably off worse.
Not to make light of your nice work with the converter, but I had always assumed that if anomalies would pop up (like a scandinvian Netherlands, or a russian Italy), we'd manually edit.

Well, yes. It's not that difficult to edit this. But I think it preferable to fix it ingame. Editing can be a bit of a slippery slope sometimes.
