Is it even possible to siege this building? Right now in my Mamluk => caliphate campaign, that stupid Portugal built a level 4 fort with march. Its so annoying, should I assault the fort with 100k men, or should I jsut wait for 10 years?

Stick a nice big stack of cannons on it. It'll still take a long time just a lot less time.
I once had Finland as a March and they built max level forts along the Russian border and then built the March building in Neva. Sadly didn't see anyone trying to siege it.
