Does it make Oirat's Tengri? I can imagine that making them weaker if so

I assume Tengri will have the same bonuses it had when imported as reformed Tengri from CK2

I think thats to taunt DDRjake, who in his latest stream lost war against Riga when playing as Livonian order. Haha!

Though Japan probably could have been changed to Mahayana rather than Shinto, which in the EU period wasn't really a separate religion (though it did give Japanese Buddhism a unique local flavour). It only became an organized religion in more modern times. It's not like there are many (if any?) events for Shinto anyway.

edit: Looked through the events. There are a small handful of Shinto events that could easily be adapted to require Mahayana religion + Japanese culture instead.
