Great job. Anyway ive some suggestions there:
- Mantova province is Romagnan culture in your new setup. Dunno at those days but today Mantova is lombard culture.
- Salento in your revision is Neapolitan culture, nowadays it is far closer to Sicilian instead. Dunno in those times.
- I see that "Tuscany" still exist. It would be better to rename it "Florence" and let "Tuscany" be a formable country.
- Naples now 10 (?) provinces, you should put a releasable nation there.
- That Venice\Istrian gulf is STILL TOO MUCH distorted from reality.

Well you could have Arpitan for Francophone Swiss and Lombard for Italian one, it makes no sense to have a special culture for these 2 in 1444.Can we make a petition to have Corsica be Corsican? Maybe partition the Swiss to be made up of subgroups Germanic/French/Italian Swiss?
Minor gripe here: can we stop further subdividing culture groups unless the accepted culture mechanic is going to be changed? It's hard enough to get any accepted cultures once you get medium-big, even if you have Humanist, trading in Silk and a bonus from an NI.
How about being able to accept an entire culture group at the "same cultural group" malus (-15% tax and men) once the entire group combined passes the threshold?
Salento is near to Sicily about language, something in common about culture existed. But for example Salento was more linked to the political machine of Naples, and instead Calabria happened to have revolted at the same time of Sicily against Bourbon government in 1860 .
So, you see too a some kind of "Alessandria" province? I thougt was only in my mind. The point is that there is a river there, so maybe is only a province we divide in two cause the river.
From the map in the MP thread you can see what belongs to what.

Looks like Burgundy got its stuff back.
FRANCE HAS BEEN BUFFED. BIG BLUE ALERT. FRANCE HAS BEEN BUFFED.
But really, I'd like to see its vassals taken back out... please.
As for Burgundy, it looks like it has 2-4 vassals now as opposed to what was shown before.
Brandenburg also has a new province in the west.
Austria is unchanged.Austria has 11 provinces in this map. How much did they have in the previous version?
Well I think having both Provence and Burgundy existing is proper given that France and Burgundy were at war and Provence was iffy. Not exactly, we have to just wait and see. What I'm hoping for is something similar to the Celestrial Empire. In the old vassal provinces, they have high autonomy that cannot be lowered until the HYW ends and Provence (and perhaps Burgundy) as a nation doesn't exist. Making France the legitimate King to the entire region.
If you think about it the vassals actually make France stronger as long as they have lower than 50% liberty desire, if France annexs them all, France is weaker in theory due to lower force limit untill the autonomy is 0.
Sardinia is the same, but yes I missed Sicily. You forgot Sicily and Sardinia, those look\are split up as well.
How would you suppose that would work? What would keep them from lowering autonomy? A unique mechanic for France? What would define the end of the HYW?In the old vassal provinces, they have high autonomy that cannot be lowered until the HYW ends and Provence (and perhaps Burgundy) as a nation doesn't exist.
Give the provinces a modifier which expires the first time France isn't at war.How would you suppose that would work? What would keep them from lowering autonomy? A unique mechanic for France? What would define the end of the HYW?
Not necessarily. Remember every nation has +3 base forcelimit, +2 base tax in their capital, and +1000 base manpower. And now also a +1 fort level in their capital.FRANCE HAS BEEN BUFFED. BIG BLUE ALERT. FRANCE HAS BEEN BUFFED.
So it would expire as soon as you unpause the game? France and England no longer start at war.Give the provinces a modifier which expires the first time France isn't at war.
