This is true, look up the mod on the workshop "More Islands" and you'll see why Paradox makes the islands bigger. In that mod there's a few islands that take 20-30 clicks (and I run highest resolution) before you get them. I can't imagine how people on low resolutions would be able to deal with it.

Yes, but we don't need to do a realistic venice island by island, but simply a more elongated island following the coast, there is space for that, is not needed to be little and rich of particoular like Malta.

Swabia was just a geographical term by 1444. The reason why said leagues and circles are labelled as Swabian is because of it's member states being geographically located in the region of Swabia. The cultural identity of the German speaking peoples living in Southwestern Germany/Switzerland and Eastern France had long lost all connection to the old tribal identity of the Swabians even during the late CK2 era and would have had more in common with the peoples of Bavaria and Franconia in 1444 than the old Swabians.

So no, Swabian would be very anachronistic

Can we all agree that Swiss isn't a culture and that Alemannic or Swabian would be better?

Savoie, Vaud, Wallis, Dauphine, etc. should be Arpitan, not Swiss or Piedmontese or Burgundian or Occitan or w/e.

Haven't tested since the map change but before 1.8 Macao when with troops required that number of clicks to select the province. If you were lucky.

Great job. Anyway ive some suggestions there:

- Mantova province is Romagnan culture in your new setup. Dunno at those days but today Mantova is lombard culture.
- Salento in your revision is Neapolitan culture, nowadays it is far closer to Sicilian instead. Dunno in those times.
- I see that "Tuscany" still exist. It would be better to rename it "Florence" and let "Tuscany" be a formable country.
- Naples now 10 (?) provinces, you should put a releasable nation there.
- That Venice\Istrian gulf is STILL TOO MUCH distorted from reality.

Did you add any new decisions or events for Croatia or Bosnia?

Is Croatia in personal union with Hungary? its far more historical then it being annexed.

Awesome, Bosnia has 5 provinces and Macedonia (upper) is a province now.
Hope they make Croatia in Personal union with Hungary.

Yes, definitely add Croatia as a PU under Hungary (2 provinces in 1444 EU map I think).

Indeed, but it seems no mods, devs ever comment on this historical request.
For the love of all that is holy add Croatia as PU member under Hungary.
Give us 2 provinces if nothing else, (capital) Zagreb and lika.

And if possible by the grace of God almighty, change Croatia's Political mapmode color, that snot green looks like Ottoman green (very un-Croatic).
Maybe something similar to Crusader Kings or any other color really (no shade of green).

Thuringia is now a part of Saxony, Modena a part of Ferrara, French vassals have been removed and Austria still compromises the lands of all Habsburgs. Aside from Burgundy, the tendency seems to be to have less fractured states in 1444.

Looks like Hum in Bosnia and Raska in Serbia have been split and there is a new Greek province under Ottoman control next to Albania called Uskup. Also looks like Manastir has had a name change.
