Gibraltar would get a strait if it weren't for the fact that it'd make all of Africa non overseas to Spain.
What about giving northern Africa high attrition to regulate expansion there until later on?

The Gods have answered my prayers, Thank You and the team that changed it.- Croatia's map color is no longer hideously green
Vassals keep their religion when released now. We added an interface string to tell you what religion a released vassal will be.
So gone are the days of releasing a country as vassal to get them to convert territory for you then. Sad. I rather liked having Sunni Hungary and Serbia doing all the leg work.Vassals keep their religion when released now. We added an interface string to tell you what religion a released vassal will be.
Eeh, can't you force a vassal to convert religion now? Or is that only for the DLC?So gone are the days of releasing a country as vassal to get them to convert territory for you then. Sad. I rather liked having Sunni Hungary and Serbia doing all the leg work.
You can ask them to switch religions via the subject interactions. Or you can convert the provinces before you release them.So gone are the days of releasing a country as vassal to get them to convert territory for you then. Sad. Does that happen regardless of the religion in the vassal's provinces? So if I convert all of the British Isles to Islam, and then release England and Scotland, they'll both still be Catholic?Vassals keep their religion when released now. But you'll still be able to use the "enforce religion" option with your vassals in the next update. So gone are the days of using vassals to convert territory then. Sad. I rather liked having Sunni Hungary and Serbia doing all the leg work.

Really nothing in Wiz's post suggest that converting provinces change anything ... (except of Common Sense, but ...)You can ask them to switch religions via the subject interactions. Or you can convert the provinces before you release them.

I guess it does mean England can feed Ireland to Meath instead of having to vassalise one of the other Irish minors first, but... Yeah. Still, at least they have a pretty colour. So Meath TAG is more important than Republic of Florence, which actually did exist. Go figure

How about we rename every province in Italy to "Florence". And make them start off owned by Genoa, who can take the decision to form Florence at admin tech 10, giving them the Theocracy government.I know! If only the Republic of Florence was somehow represented on the map, but unfortunately the Tuscany province in 1444 is doomed to forever be wasteland since we have no tag to own it.
