Map Teaser - 20th of May 2015

Always had the same idea in mind. Pie chart like in trade menue but for cultural and religious statics for each province.

Province issues too maybe just like it is nationwide in victoria 2. Things like lack of food, sickness, dissent, etc.

I am wondering now what will be in the last map teaser... It seems all areas were covered.

Maybe Persia? They did add Hormuz in. And the map teasers do not need to be exclusively new provinces, they can probably go around showing more cultures and regional development as well. Granted, it's somewhat unlikely that they have done more than add Hormuz (Hopefully as an island, with the old Hormuz province being changed to something else) there, given how much the region was improved in 1.8.

To be fair, I'd not be surprised if the next map teasers are development levels of Asia, Africa and Europe.

Or trade nodes in Europe? At least Genoa and Bordeaux have had some changes.

Well, I don't think they've shown Scandinavia and the Baltics, and given the new revolter tags...

Urgell should probably be renamed Lleida. Lleida is much more populous (like a lot more).

Also maybe split Granada into Malaga (Malaqah) and Granada (Granatah).

That map is looking awfully nice! Like others have said, I hope the British Isles get some province love in the next patch.

Well Burgundy seems to get a proper representation now so why did France lose hers?

Yay now we finally have march Montferrat ... but were still missing the other march Saluzzo
It would require splitting Cuneo? the province north of Nice in half and giving Saluzzo about 25% of the western half.

Do not overdo it.

Fir balance. More vassals means you get a higher force limit ( as each country will get the base +3 as well as the force limit for development) as well as each country getting to roll for generals

Basically, it is a buff to early game burgundy and a nerf to early France

I really like this new changes in the most intense sea in history.

As a spanish player I always wondered why Huesca's name in this game is Pirineo. This same feeling I have now for Urgell instead of Lleida (in catalan) or Lérida (in spanish).

France didn't need a nerf? She was one of the few to be a threat in Western Europe.

Okay now i can see the map, no idea what was going on yesterday. It looks sweet, more provinces are always good.

Maybe next patch, Galicia and Alentejo and Leon definitely need a split!

Also.. with all these nw provinces, it would be nice if Sweden got some more, maybe not that much more tax base cuz Sweden then ofc was a low populated country. But an extra 1TB province, lets say Öland.. would be nice

Småland, Stockholm, Hälsingland, Västergötland has potential to be cut, not to mention FInland, Själland and Jutland and Slesvig-Holstien could also be diveded further.

Hopefully no new provinces to Sweden or Norway. They are and have always been wastelands and are already vastly overrepresented. Denmark could need a couple of provinces though. Finland could take a province or two as well.

Schleswig-Holstein? Really how? We already have Schleswig and Holstein. What are you going to do? The only thing I can think of is north and south Schleswig divided along the current german danish border. But that would be really ahistorical "Auf ewig ungeteilt". Forever undivided.
Aren't the swedish provinces kind of the landskap? Which is how they were divided in this era. Splitting Småland into what? Jönköping, kalmar, växjö? Kalmar is the only major city of those in this period.
