On the screen, it looks like Genoa is feeded by Champagne. It doesn't make sense for Genoa receiving trade from the Americas as this discovery meant for them that they would become marginal.

What? Nothing changed for the Genoa node?
Ragusa, Alexandria, Tunis > Genoa
Genoa > Sevilla, Bordeaux, Champagne
That's the way it was until now and it looks the same on the screenshot.

Genoa no longer feed Champagne, instead Champagne feeds Genoa. Also, Genoa no longer feeds Bordeaux, just Sevilla.

The Barcelona province is actually misplaced, as the city is just right next to it inside the Girona province. When Barcelona is moved like this to the left, Tarragona is also misplaced to the left and makes Catalonia's southern border being too south.

What?? How can you tell that the flow between Genoa and Champagne got reversed. I wish what you say is true but i very much doubt it.
Look at the teaser image. Montferrat has a merchant IN CHAMPAGNE transferring trade TO GENOA.

I believe this change is designed so that all the money that flows into the Med from the east and south stays in the Med (apart from what the HRE minors can pull from Ragusa -> Wien). It also means a strong Champagne node can no longer pull what is sometimes quite a bit of money from Genoa up north.

Oh wow. I was straining my eyes to spot an arrow or something( i know it makes no sense in the political mapmode) and missed the obvious. I am curious now if Champagne still receives trade from the Rheinland node. If this is the case Genoa has practically an extra connection to Ragusa ( Ragusa --> Wien---> Rheinland---> Champagne-->Genoa)

Looks like genoa trade node is kinda on par with the Lubeck, only feeding one trade node (Sevilla). Assuming they haven't changed the direction of that route like they did it with Bordeaux - Champagne

This sounds like a huge improvement, I wonder if the provinces have been reassigned at all as well.
