Just curious here. If I've understood things correctly. France loses her vassals, why?
Probably to nerf France since those starting vassals were only a small pittance of a diplo point sink, came with pretty much no autonomy due to French cores, and allowed them to field a lot more men with more potential good generals since you have more than one nation rolling for them. Also gives the French AI potentially one less CB to use against Aragon unless the Foix core they have changed to a French one.
Though, something always seemed wrong with France and other feudal monarchies not having an autonomy floor. It would be nice if they did.
EDIT: Oh, the map changes are pretty nice. An extra province for Castile, 3 new ones for Aragon proper, double the Sardinia, broken up Provence, an extra province in Sicily, Liguria becoming two different named provinces, Lucca, Modena without sea access, Firenze split, the Pope-man getting 2 provinces, Urbino losing Ancona, Lombardia split in two, one or two provinces for Naples, the Balearic Islands having a sea connection to the continent so we can claim them, and a few changes to North Africa (?). Fun times ahead.
