Map question

I looked around, but I didn't see any sign of a map editor, like there is for EUII. Is it possible to edit the map at all? I don't want to add new provinces, or anything, I just want to be able to remove the giant typewritten 'SOVIET UNION' type labels that appear on the higher level zooms.

Is editing the lightmap files possible, or am I out of luck?

Nobody could edit it yet (included me). But you can try it.

That's what I was afraid of. I wanted to lose those labels for a grand campaign that started in Crusader Kings, where places like the Soviet Union and the United States don't exist.

I guess I'll just have to edit them out of the screenshots.
