Ok so I don’t know what the best solution to this would be but it infuriates me that every single time I go change the speed of the game I inevitably end up panning off to the south-east. Raise the toolbar that houses these buttons maybe? Have an option to change the panning speed or sensitivity? I could understand if I’d pulled my cursor way off the map but I’m barely hitting the sides. It’s impossible to bring my mouse down to the speed control without panning wildly from Italy to River Nile. It’s small thing but happens frequently enough to be a real pain.

Yeah, the 'thickness' of the pan layer is too large

The pan layer is definitely kind of frustrating sometimes - I've just been using the Z/X hotkeys to move speed up and down so I can avoid going to the edge of the screen.
