This new thread has been created to make it easier to find the latest version of the map.

IMPORTANT: This is a map. It is not a working mod. You cannot play this map.

Significant work has been done to improve the map, by naming sea zones previously unnamed.

Hi there!
So, after a little bit of work, i succeded in merging some things from TGC to the E3 map, like units, techs, tech teams, leader, minister, to make a more solid base for modding . I also took some things from DH to replace those originally used by the E3 map to make it up to date, it also has TGC skif icons and sprites (sorry to those who liked the original simple ones), i also added a little event for ressources, you can modify/delete it if you want.
BUT!!!!! AS NOVAPADDY ONCE SAID, THAT VERSION OF THE E3 MAP DOES REMAIN A BASE FOR MODDING/ USER MODIFICATION AND NOTHING ELSE, IT'S NOT MEANT TO BE PLAYED AS IT IS ('cause it lacks all the AI file, so if you're brave enough....)

known things: late anti tank tech lacks effect, because they use the anti tank brigade that's no more in the game (sorry, forgot to modify those), the mod.csv does contain all TGC line, because i didn't have the will to find all the new secret tech events ones out of that huge amount (i know, i'm lazzy), and that's all (that i'm aware of)

Not unless you make massive edits to the .inc files and revolts.txt (and even then the A.I's will be totally f--d up)

I wouldn't say impossible per se, just so time-consuming that it's pretty much impractical.

Things to do/Wishlist/Proposed Changes.
- Add Ypres: the only part of Belgium that endured German occupation in WWI.
- A modern map with new names for provinces and dried lakes (Aral sea, lake Chad)
- Change provinces in Ukraine, Irak and Syria to adapt to the actual situation.
- A 1914 map with old names.
- Add the new provinces and rivers from the map of fabfeingold.
- Add Icaria as a new province because it was independent from Greece for six months and even it had the possibility to fall in italian hands: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icaria#Free_State_of_Icaria
- Fix the connection between Caballococha #3827 in Peru with Tartagal #3930 in Argentina
- Add the peninsula of Rybachy which was ceded by Finland to the Soviet Union in the Winter War.
- Add the proposed changes in World of Flames III

I'm surprised too.

E3 map. Too many provinces for a single cpu game like Darkest Hour.
A need to remove about 1500-2000 provinces, in Africa, South America, Asia I presume?

Map tools....
Who has them and knows how to use them, most important?

Did anyone really playtest Mumia's map. Is it really too slow to play? If that is the case, I assume the best playable option is still the DH Map. If it comes down to minor changes (if really needed) I might be up for it. I adapted the map for my mod but have so far never playtested it.

I have the map tools and I know how to use them (alas it takes time, so I am not taking requests).
