We have "Fort Level" map mode that shows forts and ZoC provinces, however up-to-date rules of movement in ZoC are undocumented. As rules are very complex and can change between versions, I suggest following solution.

  1. There should be map mode that colors provinces depending on their accessibility for certain army:
    • red - provinces that are inaccessible by land (i.e. use of transport ships is not considered);
    • yellow - provinces that are accessible by land, but allowed path differs from shortest one (in other words, automatic path would be different if army was black-flagged);
    • green - all other provinces.
  2. For performance reasons area where provinces are colored may be limited, in this case provinces which are farther than threshold are painted with grey color.
  3. Click on any army (including enemies and neutrals) should change viewpoint to theirs, similarly to how other map modes work (e.g. "Diplomatic").
