Map Mistakes in Demo

Yes, so isn't it wonderful that they get help from the forum members so that they can fix their misstakes?
Yes, it is wonderful, but what I'm saying is you can't fix every mistake theirs going to be some mistakes no ones going to find and some mistakes paradox isn't going to fix.
Doesn't look like a mistake as such - More like an intentional decision to avoid splitting up provinces in worse ways than needed be.
THis is what Meiou and Taxes will be for all those pesky map problems attacked by Gigua (holder of too many icons)

No. It looks like a mistake. Either Macao was mistakenly put on the East side of the pearl River rather than the West side, or Hong Kong was mistakenly named as Macao.
But I'm sure its an honest mistake and will hopefully be fixed in time.

Too late, I already did, Paradox are like EA and Ubisoft in even worse !
It could be a problem because an explore could sail into it and instead of reaching Hawaii he suddenly finds himself of the coast of Alaska...
on second thought, I did misunderstand the original post and thought it was sarcasm, and didn't notice the position error.
and indeed, map position errors like Talvos pointed out are legitimate concerns. hell, our own mod (lux invicta) had a small problem with a province in gotland sending you to a sea zone in greece because of some number errors
1. Kexholm, while owned by Russia most definatly should be named Korela
2. 'Karelia' shouldn't be named that when it's in posession of Russian principalities. This area was never referred to as such by Russians. Make it Kem instead.
3. 'Ingermanland' shouldn't be named that while it is in posession of Russians. It should be renamed Ivangorod. Or Izhora.
4. 'Udskoye' in Siberia doesn't make sense at all. There was never anything named like that there. There was an ostrog of Udsk at some time. However, just name it Uda, and it'll be ok.
5. The province of Kholm south of Novgorod doesn't make sense either. There was never anything important about this little village. Rename it to Toropets or Velikiye Luki.
6. And please fix Beloozero to Belo Ozero, just like you quite awesomely did in CK2.

This not change the fact that the game is good, but I have to admit, that these errors are a bit too big to be oversights, also for the vanilla. Patch needed.
