Map keeps coming up with black lines? (PC)

I keep getting this graphic problem and I'm not sure why.. It never happened before today.

When the mouse is not moving it looks like this;



But when I move the mouse it does this sometimes..

Please try a full clean re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "delete local content" in Steam-CK2
- manually delete all files and folders left under Steam/CK2 AND Documents/Paradox/CK2
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.

That really should have helped ... you are 100% sure you deleted everything in BOTh the steam/ck2 AND teh documents/ck2 folders (save games excepted) before reinstalling?

I'm having the same issue as well. Was bearable at the start with only the smaller lines but now it's just blobs all over unless I zoom way out. I've noticed that the troops aren't there, only those lines in place of them.

Yes I have done as you asked above as well.

Still got the same annoying lines exactly how you described them...

OK then try just deleting the Steam/CK2/gfx/ and /dlc/ folders, AND the documents/paradox/ck2/gfx/ folder. Then run a verify in Steam until it gets 0 errors and run the game up again please.
