I would like to say it worked last night. I have since trying, restaerted the pc and computer, made sure my pc is set to high performance gpu instead of integrated, as well as making sure its set on full power.

The issue: When I load the game, even before I click single player(but it continues when I click single player, or even play), the map is very jagged. By that I mean many areas of the map almost look like you took the egde of a continent, streched it out like dough, and folded it over that continent or something. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it makes it so ugly/unreadable, that I can't play. This has happaned in the past, with no solution, comes and goes as it pleases. Any ideas?

will provide whatever info is needed.

EDIT: as to not create too many posts.
Another gfx issue thread led me to delete the gfx file, as well as settings.txt. Then I swapped to integrated gpu, game had obvious loading issues ive seen before(the frames during the loading bar are messed) BUT, albiet slow, map loaded up correctly.

Swapped back to gfx card, issue persists. GFX is a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470, Win 7, 64 bit.

so I looked, ATI catalyst control, told it to not crontrol AA and everything, and gave it a go. Works. Still not convinced thats not the culprit, cause I haven't touched it before it worked, but least it works for now again.

Please post a dxdiag.txt (you can delete everything after the "Sound devices" section for brevity), settings.txt, system.log files (you'll need to rename the .log files to .txt to upload).
