Map icons anywhere ?

I'm searching some good Map Icons like airfield, flak, harbour etc.
They should fit with the counters, that means they shouldn't look like C&C

I tested the icons from TRP, HOI33, HIP but none seemed really great. Aren't there any more available ?
And if possible, are there any good counter-strips out there ?

Yep, i also knew that one. And i still wasn't satisfied, seems that i'm not really a frugal person

I just think that there should be something between a minimalist like HIP:

you also have to consider, that using bigger symbols means, that you might have to change the coordinates in the province.csv.

I can offer you this one here, it is a modified version of the Super AI Bundel from Lothos. If you want to use it in a mod, you have to ask him for permission, but I doubt, that he will say no. HIP was using it in the early versions.

Thx, they look pretty nice. I only search them for private use, the only mod i work on is purely event-based, so no graphics included
Perhaps you could offer a download of your version ? If Lothos doesn't mind

Not bad, but i think they are a bit too large. But thank you for your efforts.

I'm somewhat surprised that so many people cry for new sprites, while there is a lack of map icons which should be created far easier

look at the HIP download page under screenshots or simply save the graphic from above, it has the right name and size. But does not get covered by night. I will remove it in about a week from the site.

Well i meant if you could upload the complete set of map icons like airfield, flak and whatever else is missing. Right now i only can find the harbour.bmp

I don't have more alternative versions for them. It was not a set, just the harbour symbol.


Maybe you try to get Super AI Bundle for HOI1 and look there.
