I'm kinda racking my brain over this because there's so few places I could've messed something up. The mod is literally just a map font mod.

The folders are correct inside the mod itself. I'm sure of this because when it's not zipped automatically by the workshop, it works fine. I'm working out of a normal folder, not a zip either.

My .mod contains:

name="Georgia Map Font"
path="mod/georgiamapfont"
picture="Georgia.png"

-- which also works when its not uploaded to workshop.

I checked the wiki for uploading to the workshop, and made sure I didn't miss anything. Does anyone have any ideas as to why its not working?

Hard to tell, but if you want a second opinion, maybe you can link:
- the Steam Workshop mod ? or if you don't want to make it public if doesn't work upload the archive and .mod here ?
- a zip of the mod folder + .mod file before upload to Steam Workshop?

Can do! I uploaded both my local version, and what gets sieved through the workshop. I have 0 clue as to what could be causing this since I've even compared to other mods and those work off the exact same things.

Local's the one that works, Workshops the one that doesnt.

Are you on Linux or MacOS by any chance ?
I've noticed some discrepancies in the case sensitvity of folder/files:
- Mod folder: GMF vs .mod file: path="mod/gmf" => best to use only lowercase here
- Mod: MapFont.dds & Mapfont.dds vs vanilla: Mapfont.dds & Mapfont.fnt => has to match vanilla case to override during loading.
Hopefully the 2nd issue should fix it.

The second issue fixed it! Thanks a ton! I'm not on linux, btw.

Hopefully I remember to match case sensitivity in the future lol.
