A few guesses.
1-4 - Ulaidh- No change
5-8 - Connachta - West Connacht added (Ua Flaithbheartaigh - Iarchonnacht or Uí Bhriúin Seola)- North Connacht (Úi Dhubhda of the Uí Fiachrach Muaidhe, former kings of Connachta before they were usurped by the Uí Bhriúin dynasty). Connacht reduced to 8, Uí Bhriúin Ai, Ua Conchobhair dynasty. Bréifne reduced to 6.
9-12 Midhe - 9 Tethbha or Anghaile (Ua Fergail). 10 Gailenga or Brega 11 Currently Kildare. 12 Dublin.
13-16. Mumhain 12 Tuadhmumain. 14 Cashel (currently Úrmumhain Eoghanach Chaisil). 15. Ciarraige (Ua Conchobhair Ciarraige) 16. Eoghanacht Locha Léin (Desmond).
17-19 Laighin 17 Osraige (status quo). 18 North Leinster (Uí Dhúnlainge). 19 South Leinster (Uí Cheinnselaigh). This division probably needs work as Osraige reached south almost to the sea whereas 18 should move further west and 19 should push further north.
and see that:

That's a possibility, but CK2's default for map mode "screenshots" is .png...
No, I feel the Iraq is too weak indeed now....I really hope they rework the Egyptian provinces.
Compared to the rest of the map, it now seems very weak, whereas it should be a real centre of power for the Islamic world.
I'm not sure what happened to Ferrara's color, that could've been a slip up from my side, but I'm pretty sure Iceland is because the guy who made it accidentally copied the colors from the old eastern province.
I love new provinces but can't help but worry a little about performance. IIRC @Snow Crystal mentioned that Holy Fury is 10-15% faster than current version of the game but since then you added a loot more provinces. Is it still as fast or faster the current version?
Or it was those performance improvements that allowed you to add so many new provinces in the first place?

Egypt, acoordling to Abbasid taxation record, is far from very strong in taxation...
Maybe Al-Misr has been lost controlled by Abbasid that time...

This is partly comparing incomparable. Iraq at that time was under a period of turmoil, while Egypt was just after entering the peak of its power.Population seems more important for provinces and going by this, Egypt should not be much weaker than Anatolia (5 million compared to 7 million).

Though I think the most important thing would be to have provinces better reflecting the shape of the Nile, as we see in EU4.
Abbasids (Iraq) have a population of 1.2 million, which is a quarter of what Egypt has. Though I'm not saying we shouldn't have more provinces in Iraq (and compared to how many there are now in Palestine, perhaps we should) - I just think that Egypt is in a worse state at the moment.
In some cases (e.g. the counties in the de jure duchies of Apulia, Benevento, Capua maybe Sicily) the colors of the single counties are actually identical. It's a minor thing, but I really hope the devs address this. It's nice to be able to differentiate between counties in cases like this.Pretty sure the colour was just to similiar and were merged by jpeg
