One motivation I frequently see cited for CKII's lack of cultures (compared to other Paradox titles, at least) is that the map isn't detailed enough to support their addition. Well, the time to change that is now! With the increased granularity of CKII's new map, showcased in recent dev diaries, it'd feel both wrong and unfair if we didn't receive at least a few new cultures to accompany it.
Although they're fairly superficial, cultures create playthroughs. It's a blast to play mix-and-match between cultures and religions to craft ahistorical (but plausible) pairings. And as the recent addition of Assyrian shows, I'm not the only player who loves helping obscure, forgotten cultures reclaim their legacy.
I'm making this thread so that the community can assemble an authoritative list of cultures we'd like to see. It'd be great if we got even a few of these!
