(This thread was inspired by this one: Random World Order)

Greetings people! I am Vs 002, but you may simply call me Vs (Ve-ess, Versus, Vess, pronounc it as you will). This is my first AAR, and therefore most likely to appear strange; but I will do what I
can to make it worth your time.

As I said, the concept of this AAR has been inspired by CatKnight's Random World Order)report. Go check it out! It is much greater than what this probably will be. The concept that I will use is similar, except for some minor modifications. The rules I will follow is the following:

I will let the game choose a random nation for me to play.
I will play that nation until its leader dies or gets replaced.
I may not make the leader a general, so that I wont be able to kill off leaders of nations I do not want to play as.
If the nation is a republic I must have the leader re-elected as many times as possible.
In a regency I will count the council and the heir as the same person, so I won't change nation one a regency ends.

eu4_2.png
So let us get started, which country will I be?

eu4_3.png
Mutapa, an excellent start.

Stay tuned for chapter 1, it should be up very soon.

Chapter 1 - Mutapa
Hakuna matata, Swahili

Greetings, fellow life form! I am the one they call Carpor Animárum, the Seizer of Souls. My job is simply to take control over people's souls, a job that I have been doing since the days of the ancient Greeks. I used to just pick the first soul I could find and stay attached to it for as long as it could stay in its body, but I grew bored of that a long time ago. I started to seize the souls of more important people, but my master prohibited me from manipulating the world in such manner. After some powerful debates my master decided to let me seize important souls at one condition, he were to decide who.

So that is how my story begins, and also why my master sent me straight to the Kingdom of Mutapa.

eu4_5.png
So here it is, the world as the... Mutapans? Mutapas?... people of Mutapa knows it. Our Kingdom, recently created out of the Kingdom of Zimbabwe, lies at the corner of the world; surrounded by unknown deserts. To the east we have the Swahili people, who would appear to be much more powerful than us.

eu4_6.png
We do not really care for our neighbour, nor do they care for us. We are a seemingly harmless nation, which probably is why my master sent me here. Well, I guess I will have to make the best out of the situation.

eu4_7.png
Right, and here is my victim. King Nyatsimba I, son to King Mufasa and some random woman from the planet of Utapu. The only thing he appears to know anything about is administration, but his incompetence does not matter much when I am in charge. Good thing I took control over a despot, that means I won't have any need of a council and that I answer to no one.... Yikes, sorry Master!
(OOC: Please, take no offense from the Utapau joke)

eu4_8.png
Well, I might as well set up a goal for myself. Conquering Sofala from the Swahilis should not be too challenging, I will just recruit two thousand extra soldiers and go for it.

eu4_9.png
The Swahilis seemed to not be prepared for my attack, so I simply left a thousand soldiers in Sofala and sent the other eight thousand troops to Quelimane. What I did not know was that the Swahilis had ten thousands of warriors in the north. Good thing that a random Jedi knight appeared to support my people.

eu4_10.png
And glorious did the victory come to be. It did not take long until they returned with eleven thousand warriors again, but somehow my warriors managed to hold them off anyway. The force must be strong in that Jedi.

eu4_15.png
I seized both Sofala and Quelimane, and their capital became my next target. But fourteen thousand men did they manage to raise against me, it would be a glorious a battle; at least so I thought.

My men left the battle victorious, I cannot say the same about Nyatsimba.
eu4_18.png

Conclusion

I manipulated Nyatsimba for two years, but that incompetent fool could not keep himself. His son, Matope, will continue the war, and I have good faith that he will succeed (I cannot imagine how he possibly could fail with the advantages that I have left for him). I would like to stay and make sure that Swahili is annihilated, but as my master commands I must move on. Let us see where I am sent this time....

If you use a photo hosting site like imgur or photobucket upload them there and then you link them like this

Code:
[img]direct link that your photo site states[/img]

I think imgur and photobucket are the favorites to use on the forum, but there's a lot of other ones as well.

This looks like a fun start!

I thought about changing countries with every ruler, but worried about the exact situation you ran into: Leaving after 2 years, or perhaps not leaving for 40.

I'd definitely consider tnick's advice about finding an image host provider. Personally I use photobucket, but in the past I've used imgur and imageshack to good effect. Unfortunately since your images are effectively thumbnails it discourages readers from actually opening them to see what you want to show.

Good luck! I'm curious where you land next.

Chapter 2 - Sind
Wir sind Nichtigskeiten

Okay, my master admits that he underestimated my ability to shake the balance of power. Now he has prohibited me from accepting help from strangers (Jedi, to be exact) so that there would be no ridiculous slaughters again.

So this time my master thought over his tactic of sending me to seemingly unimportant countries, he had for once realised that I could exploit those situations. Instead he decided me where my power would be very limited.

m0Q6ow3.png

The Jamdom of Sind, sounds tasty. A small Muslim realm located at the border between Islam and Hinduism. Slightly more powerful than its Hindu neighbours, though they are protected by more powerful Hindu states. At least it is located in the centre of the known world.

Dsdgv2I.png

And here is my victim, Jam Tughlaq of the Samman dynasty, quite an average leader though his power is shared with the nobles. Yet no council has been hired because of the lack of funding. In the picture you see his son, Sick-ander the great.

63JPSad.jpg

So the first task given by the nobility (Since there's no council) is to improve our relation with Mewar, sounds simple enough.

ScfK91o.png

Then some crazy religious leaders started to take Shia laws in their own hands by burning books, what they do not realise is that I am the only source of law enforcement here; and that I will not tolerate their attempts of showing authority above their Jam.

X2cEumk.png

Looks like Multan has sealed its own fate,

14rjYHs.png

because as Mewar accepted my friendship the nobility immediately knew where to point their anger. Once my western neighbour became a vassal to the Timurids, there was nothing to hold me back. The invasion of Multan started of as a blitz attack, but then I had a little déjá vú.

30COpQb.png

Tuqhlag became my second victim to win a battle, but lose his life. Sometimes I forget how fragile humans are.

Conclusion
Sikander will have to fulfil his destiny as Sick-ander the great, now that I have taken care about the enemy army. Unless any neighbouring country decides to intervene I think that little brat should be able to fight them off.

p8zwufG.png

Looking back at Matope's Mutapa makes me want to palm my face. That teenaged excuse of a ruler did not maximise his potential victory in the war, nor could he keep one little conquered territory under control. I am disappointed, now that he has doomed his own Kingdom.

A well, I suppose I will have to go where my master sends me; which is...

Wow, two nations in eight years. Let's hope Sind holds together better than Mutapa.

You can do quite a bit with Burgundy. Are lucky nations on? If not, France might be surprisingly easy if you can find an ally or two.
