Have you have ever mistakenly clicked to start production of tanks when you really wanted to produce tank destroyers (or vice versa)? (And here's the kicker: you don't realize the mistake until some time later).
Uh, no, not realy...
And one of the main decisive factors for building is Infrastructure level...and map shows you number of CIC\MIC already build but everyone alwasy looking for most advanced province to get that speed bonus from infra. You are highlighting wrong thing. When dealing with big countries looking for province with 6+ infra is a pain.
I think thats a "you" problem. Its clearly visable where the highest infrastructure is and when you're building CIC/MIC i think its more important to more easily see if that spot is already filled or not. Caring about building on the highest infrastructure area's to the point you'd want to (i assume) invert how its highlighted is just a min-max thing. Yes, building in higher infrastructure area's first is technicaly better, but its not that important.
...that game never tells you when you over-imoprt...
The game actually will tell you, but it sadly is the same alert as unfulfilled imports

I more or less agree with everything else though.

I have to agree with @krios41 , tank derivatives (SPAA, etc.) look different, at least for majors, and are clearly labelled, so I've never mistaken them.

I do wish the game let you undo genuine misclicks to production lines when the game was paused, though. As in, you could change a production line, and it wouldn't take an efficiency hit until you unpaused the game.

Press F1 and you get the infantry units in boxes on the right separated by theater and listed by Army Group; press F2 and you get the same for the navy by theater/fleet/task force. F3, which shows air regions on the map, shows a list of the army info? It should list aircraft wings at least by airfield if not by theater/airfield/wing. I can sort that way in the master list of air wings brought up pressing "L", so the info is available.

right now the %infra value are all the same colour. He is suggesting that the colour of the humber would change depending on the value. You could use red, orange, yellow, green, bright green or blue for 0-20%, 20-40%, 40-60%, 60-80%, and 80-100% respectively. Then you can tell how much infra each one has at a far glance and you can analyze the data quickly.

oooh, like that! Well personaly i wouldn't consider that important, but it would be neat. Maybe for a QoL update :p

For #3, you can just double click? What is your problem there?

I had never the problem for #4

I can see your point for #6, but right now it ise usefull to see where it is usefull to build infrastructure for lots of factory construction the the future. But since Infrastructure is also used for Supply and Ressources, I can see switching the colour gradient for Infra Level in the first place.

For #3, you can just double click? What is your problem there?
You can't double-click in army overview. It is possible in general\Fm screen only. You either have to unassign all units from generals, then drag selection across the globe and then double click to select needed tamplate. And past certain zoom level you can't select units anymore. So if you are USSR or USA or other colonial nation with units scattered acros the globe you will have to click manually.

Another QoL which would be amazing: For example, if I click on the list of ships in my navy from the Navy overview, the list where they are broken down by class - why can't I see the specs of the ships in that screen - or better yet, specs AND the modules? For that, I need to go into the production overview, or to find a ship on the map and click on it.

At the start of the game I usually do shift+left click on the alert with the red men symbol, showing non-assigned divisions. With this you select all of them. Then creating one big army consisting all divisions. Then I can use double click to filter out the division type I want. This is quickly done at the start of the game, and then my armies are ordered either way.

But yeah beeing able to double click on the army overview could be helpful.

In army, you can't, for example type NKVD and click "select all" to delete all NKVD divisions, you have to type NKVD and then click about 20 times.

...you can search division types?!?!

I've never had any issues with the province images or infrastructure depiction though. But otherwise I would like some of this stuff improved, especially the air wing creation, that drives me nuts.

Yeah, these are all excellent suggestions, especially the one about being able to more easily select all of one type of division - I do that every single game and it always requires a lot more clicks than it should.

I've never had any issues with the province images or infrastructure depiction though. But otherwise I would like some of this stuff improved, especially the air wing creation, that drives me nuts.
Directly, you cant. But they are often named by a pattern. For example I always disband nkvd and cavalry divisions as SOV and they are all named NKVD .... divisions, or kavaleriyskaya diviziya or something. SO you can easily select them all to disband.

Another way you can do it is re-icon the division type you want rid of to something noticeable, then sort the division types.

You still have to shift-click every division you want though.

Some improvment in UI would be much appriciated.

Another thing that I would like to see is the copy button that now the Airforces have, also is done for the fleets. To set up a submarine fleet with many submarine fleets is just a lost of tedious clickning.
Also the fleets don't even start with ready templates which they should.
