Manual Problems

I just got Viccy, and it looks pretty good so far, HOWEVER. I was reading the manual before I started the game...

On page 33 (under 'Industrial Development' I read that there is supposed to be an exhaustive listing of factories and their needs etc in 'the appendix', trouble is, the contents don't list an appendix, and I can't find any. Am I just dense, or did it somehow slip through when the manual was made? If so, where could I find info on the various types of factory?


The greatest part of the game so far: That piece of music which they use as a signature melody for 'Parlamentet' (a Swedish TV show), that cracked me up when I heard it! (Yes, I know it's a real piece of classical music, but still!)

Something went wrong in the printing process, you can also see that in the end of the manual there are something wrong (page 49/50 top).
Johan/Patric were quite supprised (in another tread).

Edit: BTW you read the manaul before you played the game? Has live not tougth you anything?`
When everything goes wrong: read the manual!

When everything goes wrong: read the manual!

Not to mention that various headers/subsections are missing a [BOLD] font which makes it hard to find it..

Otherwise it's pretty accurate.. only some minor things missing or wrong (Life Rating not being a number anymore for example)

Well, any NON-PAN VISION publisher can do what they want with the manual I guess.. for example SF might change the language to American English..

All they have to do really is to publish a pdf-file of the missing appendix, and put up a sticky thread with corrections on page 49.

I wish I could be that simple. But I don't think they will do this because it would give information to pirates.

We spent a lot of time on making a sheet with 8 pages...

Which listed icons of all goods, poptypes and stuff like terrain and combat modifiers..

And it also had all factories and showing input/output of them with icons.

Somehow someone managed to fuckup and it was not printed

Apparently, a fold-out leaflet with various important charts somehow was left out of the printing process in the Panvision release. There may also be minor problems with the manual itself.

Hey! This game hasn't crashed on me yet, and I'm running on a 128 MB system! Great!

The factory listing shouldn't be too hard to make ourselves, but a complete manual from Paradox wouldn't hurt, either.

Yes, some other things, like the farmer POP and Labouror POP beeing on the wrong place(were the explaination for farmers is the labourer POP is and the same(but with farmer POP figure) for labourer explaination).

Hopefully not....there's evidently not enough time to re-print the US manual & leaflets before release.
