After running PdxExporterInstall.exe, navigate to your installation folder (default is C:\Users\<name>\pdx_exporter).

ExporterInstall.exe should automatically detect your maya installation and copy all plugin files to their correct location. If that doesn't work, try these manual steps:
  • Copy pdx_export_ui.mel to /Documents/maya/scripts
  • Copy maya_2015_sdk_x64/pdx_exporter.mll to <your_maya_path>/bin/plug-ins
  • Create the folder /Documents/Paradox Interactive/PdxExporter/settings
  • Copy clausewitz.txt and texture_exporter.txt to this new settings folder (clausewitz.txt is the settings file used by the exporter plugin... Make sure that it contains the correct paths to your games)
  • Follow the steps at http://www.stellariswiki.com/Maya_exporter on how to enable the plugin in Maya
(Replace 2015 with your Maya version)

Extra steps for Photoshop plugin:
  • Run install_textureconverter.bat (This will add the TextureConverter folder to the path environment variable)
  • Copy TextureExporter.jsx and GuiExporter.jsx to <your_photoshop_path>/Presets/Scripts
Hope this helps!
