Playing Iron Cross over AoD.... I find it hard to buld up a decent army as any country due to the shortage of manpower.

The manpower growth overview in the techology screen states 57% manpower growth for italy in the 1933 senario.

Similar problems for germany.... and I guess the rest of the countries.

Add to that the new map with countless new provices that need to be covered...

Germnay cannot build a decent army to defend its lands in danzig even though it has exhausted its manpower 135 divisions with 200 manpower left.

And yes I rushed the techs that give a manpower growth bonus at the industrial menu when I could afford the research penalty.

I am speaking for a decent army vs a human opponent not the computer mind you...

In HoI 2 armagedon I could have 150-160 land divisions at danging and still have 800 manpower in the poll... in the 1936 senario.

I think I can manage the same army in AoD... however I think it is impossible to the same in IC.

Is this a bug?

Is it working as disinged? I heard the 1.1 patch added several manpower events....

Still I hate having to count on events to build a decent army because my buildup has multiplayer in mind.

The only think I might have done wrong manpowerwise is that I took the elite units otion at the cost of 220 manpower....

How can someone edit the manpower growth in the game files?

Also I found rather strange the IC to money ratio when you allocate more consumer goods that usual...

The cost of money for military salaries looks trivial compared to AoD levels no matter how big your army gets....

And manpower in the poll seems to burn money instead of paying taxes.....

What is going on here?

These are radical changed over AoD... and make little sence... and seem to be ruining the game ... at least in multiplayer....
