Ok, so this is why I really love IC. It really forces one to think long term strategy.
One of my biggest problems I've had playing Germany is that by 41 or 42 I have gobs of IC but very little Manpower to get new units or replenish.
So I am doing a little test run on AOD1.07+IC1.1+REV7 and wondering if my math is right. At the start of 33 I have .45 Manpower. If I research and use certain ministers I can get that up to .65 by around January '35. Doesn't seem like much. But if one considers the long term of about 4 years when the action starts for Germany in 39, or roughly 1460 days x .45 or .65 that is either 657 Manpower or 949 Manpower, or roughly a difference of 300 Manpower.
So my initial question is, is my math right on this?
And then this is a pretty big hit on my research speed around 85% (Keeping in mind that I chose Wartime) in '35 for all of those initial Manpower Tech improvements. Manpower versus Research Speed for Germany that is the big long term question. What do you think?
Thanks.
