So my Steam game auto-updated to 1.02 (not entirely sure how it did, but that's irellevant), and I noticed a very big problem with manpower for nations. First off, when I freed the world as Danzig (just to see a free world), I noticed that every nation had 0.0001 manpower gain. The slider was on full demobilization, so that might have affected it, but I don't know how it would affect every nation no matter their size. Also, in every scenario nations get ridiculously low manpower levels (in 1936 Soviet Union gets 0.016 manpower with a mobilization slider in the middle). Due to this, I cannot play the base game at all. So far I discovered that NWO 1 still works fine (not sure about others I own). Please help!
P.S. There are nations in game that have no manpower at all, you might want to fix that if some like me want a free world.

Hi, do you know how the mobilization system works in Darkest Hour? Basically you gain manpower mainly through increasing conscription laws and by enacting mobilization (which automatically reinforce your divisions). So a very low manpower gain at peace is normal. So the 0.016 value for Soviet Union is correct.
If you need more informations on this, feel free to ask or check the manual if you want: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?542573-Darkest-Hour-Manual

Oh, I guess I'm just too afraid of dissent to mobilize (already saw some complain about the dissent from it, I'm not going to talk about it here.) But still take account of the nations who don't have any manpower producing provinces (mainly the African states), because they are completely screwed on the world stage.
Anyway, thanks for the help and keep on dominating!

Well things did not turn out as planned (gasp!). With partial mobilization Germany in 1936 gets..... 0.0006 manpower. And the Arab Federation and California (in my free world game) get 0.0003 manpower with partial mobilization. If these are intentional, please tell me how to change the files so that I actually have a manpower pool.

How would I change this to something more acceptable (I have never dealt with text files ever)?

How could I make it even larger? Don't give me just an example, but tell me how to make it larger.
Do you have HOI2 Armageddon or AoD? If so, check their daily mp growth and insert the same figure. If you do this, you may want to disable the decisions or there will be way too much manpower in the game.
