I'm playing as the Mamluks and after fulfilling the "Gates of Constantinople" mission and choosing the "Integrated Ottoman Officials" Tier3 Gov Reform, I am now able to see the Ruler stats when my Ruler dies and the Mamluk Succession event fires. Now it always gives me 4 options and when I hover the mouse over these options I can see their stats, but the third option doesn't show anything. Clicking the third option doesn't trigger anything and the current Ruler lives on. I've clicked this option three times (since my current ruler has superior stats) and I'm wondering how old my Ruler can get...

Since it looks like the event interrupts the "on ruler death" checks, I suspect you can click this forever. Congrats on your immortal 5/6/5 with positive traits.

Okay, on the fifth Mamluk Succession event, all options gave me a new ruler, so it doesn't work infinitely. It does seem to occasionally give you 5-10 years longer lifespan on your good rulers
